YMCA Family Camp Cabin reservation booking experience
With no online booking system, YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities’ Camp du Nord was manually managing their fall, winter, and spring general cabin reservations through a complex system that included paper forms, spreadsheets, and Personify. The system was difficult to maintain and the process imposed multiple barriers on potential customers.
A streamlined registration process that allowed users to see availability and book cabins online was clearly needed. The Five Jars team built on existing integration between Open Y and Personify’s e-commerce functionality. Serious attention was paid to the user experience, ensuring that customers could easily find and reserve the cabin that was right for their family.
Five Jars was able to implement an entirely new booking system for Camp Du Nord’s cabin rentals that allows users to check availability, view panoramic images of cabins, and book online through Personify. All of this dramatically simplified both the user experience for customers and the staff’s management of fall, winter, and spring cabin rentals, allowing for a dramatic increase in sales.
